Flavia Pennetta ATP Finals

NFTs are no longer just digital representations of works of art, or digital works of art themselves: thanks to ExPlus, sport becomes NFTs, a tool through which athletes physically meet their fans.

This is the case of Flavia Pennetta, who thanks to EXPlus has launched a new collection of NFTs by which she has made her sports memorabilia available, but especially she was the first protagonist of the NFT Experiences, attending a match of the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin with two lucky fans: Alessandro Piano and Fausto Di Pino, who won two VIP seats at auction to meet Flavia and access to the secrets of stylish tennis of the 2015 US Open champion.

I didn’t know anything about the world of NFTs before EXPlus involved me in this innovative project – comments Flavia Pennetta – and today I have the opportunity to be part of it and let myself be surprised by the beauty of this sporting future and beyond. Because Giuseppe Stampone created my NFT Art inspired by my favorite animal (the jaguar), while thanks to WorldofV, the VeChain market place, we created a limited series of tennis balls to be part of a lottery and win the ATP Finals experience. A day to remember with toasts, smiles, memories and great tennis… And it was just the start of my collaboration with EXPlus

I can only thank EXPlus for allowing me to live an unimaginable experience – these are the words of Alessandro Piano, who won the NFT of the ATP Finals Experience at the auction launched by ExPlus on OpenSea – attending the ATP Finals alongside a champion like Flavia Pennetta was something really special. I was a few steps away from a legend like Rafael Nadal (debuting on Sunday November 13th against Taylor Fritz) while Flavia told me anecdotes of her great tennis moments. We were guests of the VeChain stage and were able to taste the dishes of the starred chef Antonio Romano in the Spazio 7 restaurant set up at the PalaAlpitour. Strong emotions of a day that I will never forgets

I checked in the auction on the World of V marketplace on the advice of a friend: many told me about NFTs and why not, I wanted to try it too – says Fausto Di Pino, who on Sunday 13 November attended the first match of the ATP Finals between Casper Ruud (later finalist) and the fresh winner of the Davis Cup Felix Auger Aliassime. By luck, I won the ball that allowed me to participate in the lottery and win the NFT Pennetta: an experience of two VIP tickets booked just courtside for Flavia and me, before having lunch with Sunny Lu, Ceo of Vechain, with whom I had the chance to talk about blockchain. A great honor for me, a cryptocurrency enthusiast and after this extraordinary afternoon, fond of tennis myths

Because today it is precisely the NFTs that bridge the gap between fans between works of art, unique experiences and memorabilia. Thanks to EXPlus, the first Italian community where athletes become next door champions. A project rooted in sport for a future that becomes reality.
